Captain America:The First Avenger|First Vengeance

Captain America:The First Avenger|First Vengeance

Feb 12

With all the Captain America buzz we’ve been getting everywhere because of the upcoming movie, its a safe guess to say a comic book adaptation would be available sooner or later. In this case, its sooner!

Been doing some browsing when I stumbled upon this new online release. Yes, this digital comic is free for download if you click the right button over at CaptainAmerica.Marvel.com.

Written by Fred Van Lente and with art chores by Luke Ross, Captain America: The First Avenger|First Vengeance #1 is actually the first of an 8-part story that tells us, well, the origins of the star-spangled hero.

Honestly, knowing a bit about Cap’s backstory and character, I was expecting a serious read. Of course, that’s what the vibe was throughout the entire 13-page comic but there was this one scene that totally made me burst into laughter.

Here:

Stupid Hyrda soldiers! Why aim at his shield when you can shoot him at the body? Haha!

Oo nga noh…hehehhehe why nga ba? Well, Maybe the Hydra soldiers thought that if they could just destroy the shield first then it would be easier for them to kill Captain America himself. hehehhee

  2. haha! oo nga naman no? Maybe they’re Cap sympathizers? haha!
