I’ll be attending a Hollywood Movie Costume Party this 31 and I’m having a hard time trying to think of what to wear. First and foremost, I wouldn’t want to wear a Harry Potter attire since I guess that would be an obvious choice for someone like me who wears eye glasses. And besides, no offense to fans there, but I’ve never been a Harry Potter fan. Heheh…
When I heard about the party’s theme, I immediately wanted to be Jack Sparrow. Of course, I’ve always wanted to be Spider-Man but that would be hard, if not impossible, at this point. Captain Jack is, of course, a truly cool substitute I can think of. I’ve always liked that character and I thought it would really be fun to portray him. In addition, I think I could find ways to dress up like him. I mean I have several long sleeves (although not as loose as his), the vest and the bandana would be something easy to find, plus I think I could borrow several, similar belts from friends. The big problem for me is the hair. Man! I don’t know where to borrow a wig… and Jack Sparrow without that hair (and those beads) isn’t Jack Sparrow at all! I’ve been trying to ask around but so far, nothing positive has come up.
Another idea for me would be Han Solo. The costume is really easy to copy and the only thing I don’t have right now is the gun and the gun strap (or whatever that is called) but yeah! Being the generous me (ows? ehehe) , I gave the idea away to a friend when I was asked for a suggestion about what that friend could wear.
What else? Ah, I also thought of Edward Scissorhands! The costume looks complicated but I think a black shirt would suffice for that. For the hands, well I could always ask a friend to make me a fake set made out of styro or something, perhaps but yeah! The hair!
A Punisher shirt would look cool for a costume too. I would only need to get one and wear all black and that’s it. Problem is, would it suit me? I don’t look muscular in anyway. I would look pathetic in that. Eheheh…
Yeah! I could also have the most insane idea in the world at times. Do you know that I’m also considering to be Alfalfa of the Little Rascals? Hahaha!!!… This is my crazy side taking over my cool side. Wouldn’t it be fun to dance with the girls with a hair like that? besides, someone else could think of Jack, of Edward, of Harry (I’m sure a lot would dress up as Harry) but NO ONE would want to be Alfalfa - no one but the crazy me, at least. Hahahah!!!
What do you think? Suggestions anyone?
you can try Frodo starring from the ‘lord of the ring’. your height gave me an idea…(no offense)you and the character have the same height, xempre, mas matangkad k parin.
